Thanks for joining me and a warm welcome to In the Spotlight.  My name is Hugh and I’m thrilled you’re here to share my passion for Musical Theatre.  I’ve been threatening to start my own blog for a number of years now but I just never pushed myself to get it up and running.  So here we are, April 2018 - Beginners Act 1.

Living in Ayrshire, Scotland, I'm a regular visitor to The King's Theatre and Theatre Royal in Glasgow, as well as The Playhouse and Festival Theatre in Edinburgh.  Add to this, my intense theatre trips to London's West End.  In this blog, I hope to share my love of the stage, my theatrical experiences, and my reviews for other theatregoers.  I hope you enjoy.
